Private Counseling & Psychotherapy – Individual, Couples & Family Counseling – by appointment. I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from Grief Therapy to Stress Management to Parenting Support to Work & Career Issues, as well as many other concerns. In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, I offer a highly personalized and collaborative approach tailored to each of my clients' individual needs to help them to attain the personal growth they desire.
Loss, Grief & Navigating Change Counseling Group – (otherwise known as Grief 101) is offered several times throughout the year. Each week the discussion centers on basic grief education, as well as personal concerns of group members. This group typically runs for 7 consecutive weeks and a commitment to attend all scheduled weeks is important in order to create a cohesive group experience for all participants.
Meditation and Mindfulness Practices for Mental Health Counseling Group - This is a multi-week group (the number of weeks changes throughout the year) and meets on Wednesdays from 3:00-4:30 pm. The purpose is to teach, explore and help you to apply meditation-related practices that focus on supporting personal awareness, growth and mental health goals.
Three Gentle Therapeutic Yoga Groups - These are multi-week groups (typically 8-10 weeks in a series) and meet on Monday evenings from 6-7:30 pm, Tuesday afternoons from 3:00-4:30 pm and Thursdays from 2:00-3:30 pm. These groups offer a specialized yoga practice, counseling and group discussion as an integrated psychotherapeutic technique to address and relieve grief, difficulties with life adjustments, stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem and additional psychological concerns and their related mental and physical symptoms. The combination of therapy, yoga and group brings together and provides important factors needed for effectively navigating life's changes and transitions, including a small supportive community where meaningful exploration, interaction and connection can help participants to adapt, transform and pursue life-goals and yield more peace of mind, well-being, health and happiness. Group size is limited to about ten. Group members bring a yoga mat.
